Project 365 - Magnificat Cover

Each month I receive the Magnificat liturgical prayer book in the mail. I was so pleased to see that the February issue shows a bunny pictured to the right of Jesus. ;)

Project 365 - Ducks in Pond

We have a pond at the entrance to our subdivision, and a lot of ducks like to spend the winter there. I think ducks are such pretty and funny creatures to watch. I especially love it when they bathe.

Project 365 - Pink Flamingo

I have several "stuffy" mascots in my office, and this is one of my favorites. Don't you just love her cute flip flops? Her name is "Flappy Flamingo." Original name, eh?

Project 365 - Cindy's Socks

I made these socks for my friend Cindy. She was my older daughter's sponsor at her Confirmation, and she will do the same for my younger daughter in April. Cindy picked the yarn, and I think they turned out pretty cute. I can't wait for her to try them on.

The pattern is Waffle Rib by Charlene Schurch in "Sensational Knitted Socks." The yarn is Regia 4-ply in colorway in 5025 (Papillon).

Project 365 - 15th Birthday

My younger daughter turned 15 on Valentine's day. My babies are growing up way too fast. ;)

Project 365 - Happy St. Valentine's Day

Each St. Valentine's Day, my husband will put our treats on the dining room table so we can find them when we wake up. This year, he also got us donuts for breakfast. He got me purple silky pajamas for my gift. (Or is that HIS gift?) I made him a dishcloth with a pretzel on it.

Project 365 - Daily Tea Ritual

My husband drinks a lot of tea. A LOT! He makes sweet tea at least once or twice a day. This is him in the midst of his daily tea ritual. (Oh, and he also wears tank tops almost every single day).

Project 365 - Favorite Candy

When my younger daughter sees me eating Good & Plenty, she says, "Mommy, that stuff is like crack to you!" I could eat an entire box in one sitting, but I try to control myself and limit it to 1/4 of a box.

Project 365 - Decorated Cigar Box

My awesome friend Vicki made me this awesome decorated cigar box for my birthday. I just love it! She even put bunny stickers on the inside as decoration. Thanks, Vicki!

Project 365 - Calorimetry

I finally knit something other than a sock or dishcloth! This is a cute head covering called Calorimetry that looks great with a pony tail. But, since I have no pony tail, and it is made of wool, I will be gifting this to someone up north soon. ;)

On sunny days, Janie likes to lie in the floor of my home office and enjoy the sun. Isn't she so pretty?

Project 365 - Rosaries

For the last several years, I have made mission rosaries to give to anyone who wants/needs one. These are some that I am making for a Legionary priest in the Army in Louisiana. I usually make rosaries on Sunday afternoons.

Project 365 - Cheesecake Factory

Our younger daughter and I both celebrate our birthdays this month, so we like to share a birthday dinner out. This year we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and especially for desert. Yummy!

We can always tell when Bandit is really happy because he flips upside down. In this picture, he is actually asleep in this position. ;)

Project 365 - Baby, It's COLD Outside!

Check out the temperature on my rear view mirror. Yes, that says 34 degrees (Fahrenheit) in Florida, and that was at 8:45 a.m. Brrrr! At least it is sunny!

Project 365 - Breakfast in Bed?

If you look carefully, you can see a bone in Janie's mouth. I was giving the dogs their morning treats, and Janie was lying on her bed looking at me like she was saying, "Can't I eat in bed, Mom?" So, I gave it to her and then stood by to make sure she didn't choke.

Project 365 - My Awesome Saturn

I love everything about my Saturn Vue! I love the hatch back that has a special compartment for groceries. I also love the jack that allows me to play my iPod over the stereo (well, if I could FIND my iPod).

Project 365 - Happy Birthday Bandit

Bandit turned 8 years old today! We made a vanilla cake and decorated it with candies to make a "B" on top. Our doggies love to eat vanilla birthday cake. ;)
